| My constant goal is capture and present classic photographs of your special day. I strive to make images that will remain iconic despite current and future trends. Below are some frequently asked questions and answers: Q: Who will be shooting our wedding? A: José is the owner and principal photographer. He will be the main photographer at your wedding, and depending on your package, he will be accompanied by an assistant and/or second shooter. Q: What's José's background in photography? A: José has been shooting weddings for 10 years. He attended the highly regarded Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA. Aside from documenting weddings and life events, José works regularly commercially and editorially. His recent clients include: Oprah, Time, Men's Journal, Glamour, Marie Claire, Bank of America, Fast Company, Runner's World, and many more. This distinguishes José from many other wedding photographers, because his editorial style translates seamlessly to the fast paced wedding day. Q: Do you shoot film or digital? A: BOTH! You get to choose and custom tailor your package to your needs and budget. Digital has come a long way and is a great tool to cover your wedding day. Adding film into the mix, just creates another layer of creatiivity which will really make your day special and unique from what's widely available. Film has an unparralleled richness. Plus, there are many great film cameras that will disarm you and your guests and allow for moments otherwise not available. Q: Can you describe your style? A: Unobtrisve candid photojournalism with a strong portraiture element. We work extremely hard to capture your unique story. Understanding how to engage a subject, when to just let moments unfold, and even knowing when to stop to adjust a setting takes patience and experience. Whether shooting film or digital, we take time with evey frame. Q: How do I book you for our wedding? A: I take commissions on first come, first served basis. A signed contract and half your wedding package fee reserve your date. The remaiining balance is due 7 days before your wedding day. Q: How many images will we receive and will we get a disc? A: Every wedding is different, but roughly 350-700 images. All images will be color / tonal corrected and delivered to you on a disc to keep. Q: How long does it take to receive the finished photos? A: 4-8 weeks Q: Do you travel? A: Absolutely. We've shot weddings all over the West Coast, as well as Mexico, Canada, and the East Coast. International travel is not a problem.
